Mark Hahn, GAA Founder and Managing Director presented the “Economic Forecast” for the printing, packaging and related industries at the Executive Outlook Conference which took place on the morning of September 13th at McCormick Place in Chicago, immediately preceding the opening of Graph Expo 15. Data on recent transactional activity in the commercial, newspaper and packaging segments of the printing industry was presented, with projections for future prospects in these and other segments of the industry.

Mark also presented a Graph Expo seminar, “The Art of Acquisition: Growing (or Selling) Your Print or Packaging Company” on the 14th. The 90 minute “how-to” session covered specific steps to take and review the stages of a rigorous, well-executed and ultimately successful M&A transaction in the printing and related industries. Topics covered included “GAA’s 13 Points of Value” and examples of recent transactions illustrating today’s market conditions.
