MOUNTAIN LAKES, NJ, July 21, 2026—Graphic Arts Advisors, a leading M&A advisory and consulting firm serving the printing, packaging, mailing, and graphic communications industries, served as exclusive M&A advisor to B&B Printing, Richmond, Virginia, in the sale and transfer of its book of business to Worth Higgins & Associates. Worth Higgins & Associates' acquisition of B&B Printing’s book of business underscores the value that well-run regional print shops continue to command in today's market, bringing together two Virginia-area businesses with deep roots in the region and a shared commitment to quality and client service.
From initial outreach through closing, Graphic Arts Advisors ran a structured sale process on behalf of B&B Printing, identifying and approaching a targeted universe of strategic buyers, managing negotiations, and supporting the company through each stage of the transaction. The Graphic Arts Advisors team of Mike Kellogg and Michael Wurst led the M&A advisory engagement. John Hyde, Managing Director, Special Situations, is overseeing the wind-down process for B&B Printing.
“This transaction is a good example of two companies coming together in a win-win,” said Kellogg. “B&B Printing’s experienced team and equipment provide meaningful support while Worth Higgins works through a significant upgrade of its pressroom, creating tangible benefits for both parties. It was a pleasure to help the two CEOs bring this consolidation together.”
Founded by his father and grown under the leadership of Michael Bland, Owner and President, B&B Printing earned a strong standing in the Richmond, Virginia market through consistent quality and a customer-first approach. The company’s experienced team and established client relationships made its book of business attractive to buyers seeking additional scale and customer relationships in the mid-Atlantic region.
Bland noted that the GAA team’s expertise was instrumental in achieving a successful outcome. "Selling a business you've built is not easy, but the right guidance makes all the difference,” he said. “Our first deal fell through, but GAA’s focus never wavered; they went back to the market and brought in additionaloffers. The end result with Worth Higgins is a much better fit. What mattered most to me was preserving jobs and keeping the business rooted in our local community. This transaction does exactly that."
Bland continued, "Mike Kellogg was instrumental in this transaction from start to finish. His expertise, clear guidance, and thorough knowledge of the process made a complex deal manageable. When questions came up, and there were many, Mike had answers. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again."
Worth Higgins & Associates is a well-established print and marketing communications company with a strong presence in the mid-Atlantic region. Brian Losch, President and CEO, said, "B&B Printing has built strong customer relationships and an excellent reputation. We are pleased to welcome its sales and support team and give customers continued access to familiar contacts along with our expanded capabilities and services. After several years of sustained growth and our largest investment in new equipment and technology, this acquisition makes strategic sense. The added capacity and production efficiencies position us to continue delivering exceptional service to both Worth Higgins and B&B customers."
